Once a noble knight protecting his kingdom, the man was thrown into Hell, where he was ripped apart over and over for centuries. Now Lucifer has thrown him back onto the soil, corrupted and mindless, he is now King Leoric otherwise known as the Skeleton King. He marches on, leading his minions with an unfaltering gaze and knowing only one thing: that is the orders given to him from the Dark Lord himself. Able to cripple his opponents with a powerful magical hammer, King Leoric is a major threat on the battlefield. His mighty vampiric aura allows him to drain the blood of his enemies and It is said that he is immortal, those who are struck by his hammer would never wake up again…

Terrorblade is the twin brother of the Anti-Mage. Both of them were of Night-Elf descent but Terrorblade was drawn in by the powers of the Undead and he plunged deeper into the abyss of no return. He grew large gargoyle-like wings to symbolize his breaking from the Night Elf world. Mastering the art of image creation and soul manipulation. He also has the ability to metamorphosise into a fearsome and terrifying demon, with the ghostly sounds of large moonblades slashing, he is the one to fear on the battlefield.

A taboo is a strong social prohibition (or ban) against words, objects, actions, or discussions that are considered undesirable or offensive by a group, culture, society, or community. Breaking a taboo is usually considered objectionable or abhorrent. Some taboos may sound bizarre or absurd but don’t be a bigot and scorn at these taboos i posted.

The Nubas of East Africa believe that they would die if they entered the house of their priestly king; however they can evade the penalty of their intrusion by baring the left shoulder and getting the king to lay his hands on it.

In West Africa, in the woods of Shark Point near Cape Padron, in Lower Guinea, a priestly king named Kukulu once lived alone. Forbidden from touching a woman or leaving his house, or even leaving his chair, in which he would sleep, the natives feared that if he lay down no wind would rise and navigation would be stopped.

The ancient kings of Ireland were subject to a number of strange restrictions as listed in The Book of Rights. The king, for instance, may not stay in a certain town on a particular day of the week; he may not cross a river on a particular hour of the day; he may not encamp for nine days on a certain plain, and so on.

In the Toaripi or Motumotu tribe of south-eastern New Guinea, a man who has killed another may not go near his wife, and may not touch food with his fingers. He is fed by others, and only with certain kinds of food. These observances last till the new moon.

The word earthquake is used to describe any seismic event, whether a natural phenomenon or an event caused by humans that generates seismic waves. The moment magnitude of an earthquake most commonly reported on the Ritcher scale, with a magnitude of 3 or lower earthquakes, being mostly imperceptible while magnitudes 7 and above causes catastrophic damage over large areas. The devastating effects and impacts of earthquakes run the gamut from shaking and ground rupturing, landslides, avalanches, fires, soil liquefaction, tsunamis to the mortality of human lives.

It has been calculated in the United Kingdom that the average of earthquakes recurrences are as this:

an earthquake of 3.7-4.6 every year.

an earthquake of 4.7-5.5 every decade

an earthquake of 5.6 or larger every century.

Those living in earthquake prone areas are encouraged to practice earthquake preparedness which are a variety of measures designed to help individuals, businesses, and local and state governments in earthquake prone areas to prepare for significant earthquakes. By doing so, it may be of great help during emergenices and might reduce the devastating and deadly impacts of an earthquake.

A confidence trick or a confidence game, more often known as a con or a scam is an attempt to delude a person or people which involves gaining his or her confidence. A very common scam is the advance free fraud which is a confidence trick in which the target is persuaded to advance relatively small sums of money in hopes of realizing a much larger gain. Fabricating such get-rich-quick schemes may seem attractive to people, con-men mainly rely on potential victims who are naive enough to put their confidence in these chimerical schemes. Victims end up in a pitiful plight after finding out that they have been conned of their life savings due to their greed.

A Bhiksu in Sanskrit is a fully ordained male Buddhist monastic or also known as an ascetic who is the disciple of Buddha’s teachings. They live by a framework of monastic discipline whereby the basic set of rules are called the patimokka. Not concerned with opulence nor materialism, their lifestyle is shaped as so to support their spiritual practice, to live a simple and meditative life, and hoping to attain Nirvana.

Received a Honorary Doctorate of Education from the University of Sunderland in 2000

Terry Deary is my favourite author because he injects humour and interest into the Horrible Histories series, making them fun and easy to read. He has designed the Horrible Histories books in such a way that it gains children’s interests by concentrating on the trivial, unusual, gory or unpleasant bits of the world’s history. The Horrible Histories books are written by Terry Deary himself and illustrated by Martin Brown and Phillip Reeve . In May 2007 the Horrible Histories series was re-released with new covers and extra new material, be sure to look out for them!

Dust mites are an extant guest in the human habitat despite of the advanced technology we possess in chemical warfare. These microscopic arachnids feed on sheds of human skin and thrive in the sultry enviroment of dwelling. They are considered as pesky creatures and are reviled by most humans for being the common cause of asthma and for causing allergy symptoms. Although there is no way to eradicate this puissant pest, there are methods to control their population in your home.
